Volunteer Update (COVID19)
As a nonprofit dedicated to helping our homeless neighbors, the health and safety of our volunteers is a top priority.
We are closely monitoring updates by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. Our current goal is to continue helping our homeless neighbors while adopting best practices for all involved.
In keeping with the Department of Public Health guidelines, we will not be using volunteers at this time. However, we will continue to distribute food, hygiene kits, clothes and shoes, using only a handful of select help.
Thank you so much for your interest in Brown Bag Lady. It warms my heart to know that people are still willing to hit the streets with us. We hope to see everyone again very soon.
