Volunteer to Distribute Food and Clothing on Skid Row

What to expect

As a volunteer, it is our desire to spread hope throughout our community by distributing food, clothing and essential supplies to 200+ unhoused and low-income neighbors. We ask that you treat everyone with the utmost respect.

You will be asked to sign a Waiver.

We are not set up for children, so please leave the little ones at home.

Please Note: This is a strenuous day. Meal prep is on the second floor, and there is no elevator. Only stairs. The second half of the afternoon is spent on Skid Row. We do not operate inside a building and there is no place to sit down. Please be prepared to be on your feet for a large portion of the afternoon.

Do you have clothes to donate? We accept new and clean gently used clothing, shoes, jackets, blankets, sleeping bags and backpacks.

$25 Donation

Your $25 donation will reserve your spot and help fund our programs that make it possible for us to:

Provide nutritious meals, hygiene bags and free haircuts to our unhoused neighbors.
Deliver new backpacks full of school supplies to an underserved grade school.
Host a 7-day sleep away camp in Big Bear, California, reuniting foster siblings.
Prepare 300+ warm turkey dinners on Christmas.
Provide a $500 gift card to a family for Thanksgiving.
Award two graduating high school seniors on their way to college, with a $1,000 Scholarship.
