There is no perfect moment, no perfect weather, you don't need a big kitchen or a fancy stove. The mood hit us tonight, so we hit the pavement!
I made quesadillas.
We packed up 25 red beans & rice,
and hot chicken noodle soup.
I see this guy every night in his cardboard
fortress. His name is Jorge.
Kimble gave this guy a sleeping bag two weeks ago.
He woke up and was thrilled to see Kimble again.
A familiar face around these parts.
Graciously accepting the hot soup.
He wanted us to take a picture of him
and his menorah. His friend was happy
I left the ham hock bone in the red beans
It's amazing how you can tell who will
appreciate a meal. Kimble ran across
Hollywood Boulevard to get to this guy.
La La Land ... City of Lost Angels.
Remember this guy?! He remembered us
and was thrilled and so appreciative.
Unfortunately we found him once again
digging in the trash for food.
This guy's brother was standing there talking to him.
The guy on the sidewalk refuses help. So his brother comes
and visits him on Hollywood Blvd. Brotherly love at its finest!
